Medical office seeking a FULL TIME receptionist. Applicants MUST have experience in a medical office setting. Insurance knowledge REQUIRED. At least 2 years consistent experience in CPT/ICD-10 coding. Must be highly motivated, have Outstanding Communication Skills , multi-task and have a professional appearance. Duties include but are not limited to: scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, answering multi-line phones ,collection of co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance, ability to process insurance allowables, familiar with insurance billing. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling appointments.
- Medical Billing
- Medical office experience
- Enters charges and submit claims to insurance companies.
- Handles collections on unpaid accounts.
- Follow up and collect on accounts with outstanding receivables.
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies.
- Answering multi-line phones
- Verifying insurance
- Collections of co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance
- Data entry: charges, patient demographics, insurance policies
- Multi-tasking and detail oriented
Qualifications:
Billing experience REQUIRED- Collections experience- Strong A/R experience- Strong Communication Skills- Excellent Customer Service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
