Description
To ensure success as a network engineer, you should have experience working with enterprise networks spanning multiple locations and possess some project management skills.
Network Engineer Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring networking hardware. Often remotely with smart hands on site.
- Creating and implementing network security measures.
- Mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.
- Conducting regular network performance tests.
- Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff.
- Dealing with escalated network support issues.
- Creating network status reports.
- Completes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Security, others) within designated timeframes.
- Complies with Allergy Partners and respective hub/department policies and reports incidents of policy violations to a Supervisor/Manager/Director, Department of Compliance & Privacy or via the AP EthicsPoint hotline.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a networking engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet.
- Knowledge of networking hardware
- Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network analysis tools
- High level problem-solving and communication skills.
- Minimum CCNA or similar certification required
- Meraki ECMS1 Certification or Higher
- CCNA
- BA in Network Operations or similar
- CCNP
