Job Summary
We are seeking a mid-level Superintendent to consistently deliver projects on time, within budget, and beyond client expectations. Our superintendents receive the necessary support and resources to excel in their roles, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, along with excellent client service abilities and a comprehensive understanding of all trades involved in commercial construction (primarily interiors) and fast-paced projects. Healthcare experience is a bonus!
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control, housekeeping, and daily log.
• Promote positive relationships by dealing expertly and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors while instilling this philosophy in the project team.
• Communicate effectively with the project team.
• Correct oversights and errors before they can be extensively incorporated into the project or as early in the construction process as possible.
• Participate in the development and implementation of project procedures and policies.
• Resolve issues and problems listed in field reports.
• Enforce subcontracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review contractors claims or disputed work and advise Management as to appropriate action.
• Provide guidance, leadership, and direct supervision of site staff, including assistant superintendents, laborers, and other construction-related personnel.
• Interact with stakeholders to minimize project concerns.
• Develop and implement project procedures and policies.
• Review submittals for proper field fitment and coordination.
• Review punch lists and proactively manage the close-out process.
• Monitor and Maintain the project schedule, including weekly preparation of a two-week look ahead.
• Proactively schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure completion of the project in accordance with the project schedule and to ensure that no additional costs are required for the completion of work.
• Manage the RFI process; consisting of the creation of and suggestions on solutions to site issues and tracking them through closeout.
• Exceed client expectations for each project by understanding client needs, wants, preferences and culture.
• Manage the close-out process including warranties.
• Host Trade Contractor jobsite meetings
• Attend required OAC meetings.
Qualifications
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not required)
• Minimum 5 years work experience in commercial construction
• Minimum 2 years experience managing all phases of construction work valued at $3 Million
• Valid drivers license
• Must have a proven record of managing complex projects in occupied spaces
• Email, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Bluebeam, and Procore or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
