Job Summary:
AllerVie is seeking a Lab Technician to ensure that allergy serums are formulated, schedules are produced, and serums are mixed properly for all clinics. The Lab Technician provides clinic support by obtaining comprehensive medical history of patients, reconciling medications, and appropriately documenting electronic medical records. This position requires competency and knowledge of general allergy practice, procedures, and medications, and assists with allergy testing and allergy serum mixing. This role operates in a team-based environment with a shared goal of providing effective lab results.

This position requires competency and knowledge of general allergy practice, procedures, and medications, and assists with allergy testing and allergy serum mixing. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Mix allergy serums
- Create and document allergy schedules, labels, and bottles
- Verify insurances, prepare billing slip
- Filling skin testing trays and ID trays
- Document refrigerator settings and temperatures
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner with the manager and other staff members for clinical supply and missing documents
- Ensures appropriate documentation and use of EMR and HPAC
- Perform other job-related duties as needed
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in the related field as an MA, LPN, or RN. Allergy experience a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED. Medical Assistance program preferred.
- Experience with EMR and Billing systems a plus
- Ability to formulate serums
- Detail oriented with strong math skills
- Able to multi-task and good time management skills
- Strong math skills
- Ability to communicate with healthcare providers in a proactive and professional manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including email, Word, etc.
