**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Full-Time compassionate Community Care Podiatrist to join our team and provide quality foot care services to patients within the community in their home. The Podiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including infections, injuries, and deformities.
**Qualifications:**
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice podiatry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in community health or home care settings is preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive foot examinations and assess patients' foot health
- Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle conditions, such as ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, and plantar fasciitis
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as toenail removal and wound care
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on the latest developments in podiatric medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities
