Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in both clinic and inpatient settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to perform vital tasks that support the healthcare team and enhance patient outcomes.
Duties
Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
Assist in emergency medicine situations by providing basic life support as needed.
Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of clinical areas to promote a safe environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge.
Experience in both clinic and hospital settings is preferred.
Ability to administer medications safely and effectively.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
