JOB STATEMENT
The Marketing Multimedia Specialist will be a key member of our in-house marketing team, responsible for creating and managing multimedia assets that showcase our theatrical productions. This role will involve capturing and producing video, photo, and audio content to support marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms, including social media, our website, traditional media, and other marketing channels.
The ideal candidate is a creative, collaborative, and highly organized individual with a passion for storytelling and the arts. You will work closely with the marketing team to bring the theatre’s brand and productions to life through compelling and visually engaging content.

Job Duties
- Content Creation:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video and photo content for promotional use for traditional and digital media.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage, rehearsal clips, and on-stage moments to give audiences an inside look at the theatrical experience.
- Record and edit audio content such as voiceovers, interviews with cast/crew, music, and production footage.
- Campaign Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies for specific theatrical productions and events.
- Work with the marketing team to craft creative and engaging content for social media campaigns, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok.
- Ensure content aligns with Alley Theatre's brand voice, mission, and creative direction.
- Post-production & Editing:
- Edit, enhance, and finalize all media content to ensure high-quality production standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors when necessary for specialized content production.
- Content Distribution & Optimization:
- Publish content across various marketing channels, ensuring that all deliverables are on time and formatted correctly.
- Analyze engagement and effectiveness of content, using data to improve future campaigns.
- Creative Input:
- Contribute fresh and innovative ideas for video/photo shoots, storytelling approaches, and new ways to engage audiences digitally.
- Collaborate with the marketing and artistic teams to ensure the content supports and enhances the theatrical experience.
- Other Duties:
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Support additional multimedia and creative initiatives as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energized and quickly changing environment.

- Advanced knowledge in video production software including Davinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite and advanced audio and video plugins.
- Experience with operating and maintaining professional video and audio equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, mics and any other components necessary to produce the finished product.
- Skills in project management and/or creative problem solving.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where directions and priorities can change rapidly.
- Typical hours are during the day, but the position requires flexibility to be available for weekend, holidays and evening work hours as needed.
