Main Duties & Responsibilities

Performs secondary process in support of manufacturing operations. This includes degrease, lube, etch, anodize,
chromatic conversion coating, and roll sort.
Performs daily operation of wastewater treatment systems. This includes chemical tanks recharge, daily
PH monitoring, flow controls, filter press pumping and filter cake dryer
operation.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:

Adheres to production schedules as required by the
company and/or customer.

Ensures process specifications identified on work
order are followed.

Ensures processing tanks are at proper chemical
operating levels.

Performs and monitors transfer of wastewater effluent
from containment through filter press.

Performs roll sorting of product as required.

Follows established safety and environmental
guidelines.

Inventories and reports requirements for chemicals
and supplies.

Performs record keeping and housekeeping.

The pay scale for this position ranges from $20.00-$29.86 per hour.

Qualifications

Language Skills:

Ability to speak and understand
English. Ability to read and comprehend
simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English. Basic ability to write numbers and letters.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract,
multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry
out routine multi-step instructions. Ability
to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree
(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and
arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to bend. The
employee is occasionally required to walk; and to use hands to finger, handle,
or feel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds,
frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
