Alliance Ag & Grain LLC located in Spearville KS is hiring an Agronomy Sales Representative to increase sales by generating new customers and building sales to existing customers located within the territory
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops targeted sales, marketing, and customer service strategies for maintaining satisfied customers, developing accounts, and achieving profitable margins.
- Develops business partnerships with product suppliers
- Develops current customer package and prospects potential customers to sell additional products and services
- Provides excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests, needs, complaints and ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met to maintain a favorable image of the cooperative
- Keeps up to date on industry trends and new products available suggests new products, services, and ideas to Agronomy Department Manager
- The ability to manage difficult or emotional situations; respond promptly to customer needs; resolve questions, complaints, and concerns immediately; and meet commitments.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal relationship-building abilities, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated and a proactive self-starter
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products and other related software.
- Extensive understanding of chemicals and fertilizers, including their specific applications.
- A valid Driver's license and the ability to maintain the license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to work in direct exposure to fertilizer, chemicals, grain dusts, and various outdoor conditions and temperatures.
