Summary
The Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to explore their career development, develop technical and professional skills. Responsible for various financial tasks, including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, financial accounting, and reporting. Assist CFO and Controller on projects.
Essential Functions

- Process Accounts Payable, prepare invoice and expense reports
- Assist with distributing shareholder disbursements and communications
- Record and balance accounting, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare accounting reports and balance internal accounts
- Provide solutions to internal clients’ needs via phone
- Promote the bank’s products and services
- Contribute to a positive working environment that facilitates exceptional service, expanding profitable client relationships and employee engagement
- Follow policies and procedures to protect the bank from risk and exposure
- Actively use the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to align business goals, drive accountability, and ensure effective communication across teams

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift, bend, or stand as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a temporary position lasting 12-16 weeks. Employee will work 15-30 hours per week: schedule to be determined by selected intern and supervisor.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College student working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
