Alliance Building Services is a full-service building maintenance company, seeking a dedicated Utility Technician for our Seattle/Bellevue locations. As a Utility Technician, you will be integral in maintaining both the cleanliness and functionality of the premises. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in janitorial services, light plumbing, and basic electrical work who can work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Janitorial Duties: Perform comprehensive indoor cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms frequently to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Light Plumbing: Unclog toilets, sinks, and drains; fix minor leaks and perform routine checks of plumbing fixtures.
- Light Electrical: Replace light bulbs, fix outlets, and handle minor electrical repairs as needed.
- Trash Removal: Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers and other team members to ensure quality service delivery.
- Facility Maintenance: Address minor facility issues and report larger maintenance concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to use a backpack vacuum for extended periods of time.
- Basic knowledge of light plumbing, electrical tasks, and janitorial duties.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, janitorial services, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- All offers of employment are contingent on passing a criminal background check.
Compensation:
- Pay ranges from $26 to $29 per hour, with bonus opportunities and overtime available.
