Position : Part-Time Cook
Salary : $16 per hour
Job Description :
Prepare meals according to planned menus, ensuring they are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
Serve food with established portion control procedures and accommodate therapeutic diets as needed.
Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders.
Provide bedtime snacks and assist in serving meals in a timely manner.
Maintain safety and sanitation standards, adhering to regulations and established policies.
Assist with cleaning duties and ensure the kitchen is clean and safe.
Handle food and waste disposal according to policies.
Requirements :
Preferred background in cooking within a long-term care facility.
Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking
