About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team at Alliance Careers. As an Electrical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing malfunctions and repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining power equipment such as cranes, wheel loaders, haul trucks, conveyors, bulldozers, personnel transport vehicles, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain power equipment
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
- Weld broken parts and structural members
- Check and fill fluid levels and service lube points
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Inspect and perform daily routine housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work area
- Complete assigned paperwork accurately and turn in work log at the end of each shift
- Work safely, responsibly, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications:
- ~1-year CAT SIS Program experience preferred
- ~Experience working in an industrial shop
- ~Heavy equipment mechanic experience
- ~Capable of repairing equipment to OEM standards
- ~Diagnose systems
