Job Description:
We are looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Alliance Careers. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing malfunctions and repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment such as cranes, wheel loaders, haul trucks, conveyors, bulldozers, and personnel transport vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy-duty equipment
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
- Weld broken parts and structural members
- Check and fill fluid levels and service lube points
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Inspect and perform daily routine housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work area
- Complete assigned paperwork accurately and turn in work log at the end of each shift
Requirements:
- ~1-year CAT SIS Program experience preferred
- ~Experience working in an industrial shop
- ~Heavy equipment mechanic experience
- ~Capable of repairing equipment to OEM standards
