SUMMARY: Alliance Clinical Network is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Associate to support and execute clinical trials aimed at advancing medical innovation. This role involves patient interaction, data collection, protocol compliance, and performing clinical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to improving patient outcomes through research.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively and courteously with study participants.
- Collect patient medical histories and obtain informed consent.
- Dispense and manage study drug accountability per protocol.
- Assess and document adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Perform protocol-specific procedures including EKGs, vital signs, and phlebotomy.
- Collect, process, and ship biological samples (blood, urine, tissue).
- Evaluate concomitant medications and medical records for protocol compliance.
- Maintain and update site regulatory documentation.
- Verify accuracy of collected clinical data and ensure timely documentation.
- Support temperature monitoring and investigational product (IP) storage.
- Interact directly with COVID-19 positive patients when required.
- Manage study startup documentation, training, and adherence to timelines.
- Ensure all protocol requirements and deadlines are met consistently.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION AND EXPREIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field, or equivalent education and clinical experience (Medical Assistant certification preferred).
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data systems (required).
- Ability to travel between clinical sites as needed.
- Prior clinical research experience (preferred).
- Certified Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, and EKG experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding customer service skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
