JOB LOCATION/SCHEDULE:
Part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week).
Preferably 4 hours per day, with some flexibility in scheduling.
Travel required between three Los Angeles sites as needed.

SUMMARY: As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical trials by managing investigational product inventory, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring accurate medication preparation under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Pharmacist. Your contributions will help uphold the integrity of our research studies while ensuring patient safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, review, and verify prescription orders from the Principal Investigator to ensure study validity.
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and study protocols.
- Support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and labeling investigational products.
- Assist clinical research staff by addressing inquiries and referring complex issues to the Principal Investigator or Pharmacist as needed.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory records to support smooth clinical trial operations.
- Ensure a sterile and compliant environment for medication preparation and dispensing.
- Follow security measures and quality control protocols to maintain the integrity of investigational products.
- Meet all study protocol requirements and deadlines, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, protocols, and regulatory compliance standards to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of clinical research operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPREIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required; pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, clinical research, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pharmacy information systems, prescription processing, and regulatory guidelines related to investigational products.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems.
