Description
As a RISE Support Staff, you will:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Participant Supervision and Engagement
- Supervise and engage participants in structured activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in implementing daily programming and activities as directed by therapists.
- Support smooth transitions between activities and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Monitor interactions and report any behavioral concerns to the RISE Coordinator.
Assistance with Basic Needs and Personal Care
- Help with meal preparation and provide assistance as needed during meals.
- Guide participants through restroom and handwashing routines.
Facility Maintenance and Organization
- Maintain a clean and organized facility to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with cleaning tasks such as sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, and taking out trash.
Parent Interaction and Communication
- Support drop-off and pick-up procedures while referring concerns to the Coordinator or therapist.
- Communicate supply and food needs to the RISE Coordinator.
Program Policies and Training
- Enforce program policies and expectations in alignment with leadership guidelines.
- Attend all required training and meetings to stay informed on best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant experience in mental health, education, or childcare preferred.
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a structured environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directives and maintain consistency in program implementation.
- Basic understanding of behavioral management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
- Maturity, responsibility, and reliability for agency dependability and modeling for participants.
- Engaging, energetic, and a team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with consistency and enforce program policies with compassion and professionalism.
- Must possess keen observation skills to detect behavioral concerns or potential escalations and act accordingly to ensure participant safety.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and circumstances.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment while modeling positive behavior for participants.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must pass all required background checks.
Compensation:
- $16 per hour (with a new raise structure)
- Paid bi-weekly

Schedule:
- Weekly:
- Monday & Wednesday: 2:00pm-7:30pm

Rotating every other week:
- Thursday: 2:00pm-7:30pm
- Saturday- 9:00am-3:00pm
- Part-time (days/hours could vary)
