ROLE: Transport materials to our various customers in a safe and timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality, service, and support.
HOURS: Full-time, 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Weekends off and home daily.
WAGE: $30.25 depending on experience
POSITION CLOSE DATE: 02/21/2025
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain work records, logs, and time sheets.
- Perform pre & post-trip inspections.
- Convey loads to their destination in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect material securing equipment such as cables, chains, binders, and straps and inform supervisor of any defects in need of attention.
- Secure all materials properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT regulation
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials and coordinate activities of workers helping to load and unload.
- Wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment while on all job sites.
- Operate in a team atmosphere and assist supervisor and co-workers in the performance of duties.
CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class A CDL, with ability to provide a good clean driving abstract
- Current & valid medical card
- Understanding of all DOT driving laws and regulations
- Prior sit-down forklift operation experience
- bility to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds
- Able to participate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds and maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds
