Warehouse Associate

ROLE: Drive flow of product through our warehouse by warehousing new inventory, and picking, loading, packaging, and staging doors and related products for our customers. If you have experience in warehouse operations, distribution, receiving, shipping, assembly, inventory, manufacturing, and forklift driving, your experience is relevant to this position.
PLEASE NOTE: Our interview process for this position will include a forklift skills evaluation.
HOURS: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize stock and maintain inventory.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments.
- Inspect products for defects, damages, and specification accuracy.
- Report all discrepancies/damage to relevant parties.
- Follow standard processes and procedures.
- Assist in the organization and implementation of warehouse layout.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
- Perform all duties safely, in accordance with our safety standards and OSHA
- Other administrative or warehouse related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dependable and reliable with a positive and willing attitude.
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Able to read and follow instructions; successfully manage workflow to meet shipping deadlines.
- Proven warehouse experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift
- Preferred experience in the construction or building materials industry, and experience loading and packaging palletized freight.
- Ability to stand (8-9 hrs per day), walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift items up to 70 pounds.
- Able to participate in team lifts for objects between 70 and 150 pounds and maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Starting at $20.00- $24.00/ Hour - DOE.
