Alliance Engineering is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering projects from concept through completion. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and operations to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning tasks and setting deadlines.
- Monitor and report on project progress to both engineering team and client, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams and other departments or client.
- Develop and deliver proposals
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, processes, and terminology.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (e.g., MS Project, Word, Excel, Microsoft 365)
- Familiarity with design and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, PLM systems)
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
- Knowledge of quality assurance, safety, and regulatory standards relevant to the industry
Experience:
- 10 years of professional experience in engineering roles
- 5 years of experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budget
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (preferred)
