Job Summary Overview:
The Drug Lab Cleanup Worker responsibilities entail carrying out the directions from the foreman. The Drug Lab Cleanup Worker must abide by all safety protocols and regulations. Properly handle the removal of hazardous chemicals, biological materials, and drug residue. Use specialized cleaning agents and techniques to neutralize drug residues and chemical contaminants from surfaces. The Drug Lab Cleanup Worker decontaminates flooring, walls, ceilings, ventilation systems, and any equipment or items that may have been contaminated. Properly collect and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
- Evaluate the extent of contamination, including hazardous chemicals, biological materials, and drug residue
- Able to work in commercial and residential projects
- Able to communicate and follow directions from Supervisor
- Able to work and practice industry standards and regulations on all job sites
- Monitor air quality and other environmental factors during the cleaning process
- Attend training as needed
- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites
- Stay informed about current regulations and safety standards for drug lab decontamination
- Maintain good driving record
- Keep property owners, employers, and authorities informed about the progress of the decontamination work
Position Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills: Minimum
- Two plus years of experience
- Drug Lab Cleanup Certificate required
- A valid California Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
- Complete background investigation
- Reading and comprehension skills
- Communicate effectively in English
- Customer Service Oriented & Follow directions
- Understand Hazardous Chemicals Awareness

Pay: $19.25 - $29.75 per hour
