We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for keeping our building clean and orderly. This includes performing cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing walls and glass, removing garbage and cleaning restrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, be self-motivated, and take pride in making our environment clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Service is performed 1 time per week.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed.
· Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
· Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up.
· Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
· Perform routine floor cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, and mopping.
identify and report any damage or repairs needed for flooring.
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
· Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
· Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as required.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
· Adhere to environmental and health standards for the use of cleaning chemicals.
· Provide support for setup and teardown of events or rearrangements of furniture as needed.

Qualifications & Experiences:

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
· Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
· Ability to read and follow safety labels and instructions.
· Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed.
Required:

· Ability to adapt to changing schedules or routines and excellent time management skills.
