Summary
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for ensuring health screenings and assessments are completed that meet or exceed state and federal guidelines. Responsible for record keeping of health services and compliance with all health-related mandates.Promotes preventative health services and early intervention for children and families.
Children supervision responsibility : Responsible for the oversight of child supervision and for keeping children safe.

Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Coordinates implements, and tracks dental, hearing, vision, and other health-related screenings for children.
- Tracks and follows up on health requirements, physical exams, dental exams, lead, hemoglobin / hematocrit, immunizations, etc.
- Distributes and restocks first aid supplies to sites monthly and as needed.
- Provides families with resources for health services.
- Assess children’s injuries sustained at centers.
- Monitor health records of children, assist with the maintenance of documentation, data, and files, and ensures confidentiality, including program file requirements, training documents, and tracking.
- Assist and support Family Advocates and Site Managers with health record-keeping, follow-up, and tracking.
- Assist with the development of individual health care plans.
- Assist the Health Nutrition Manager with the development of yearly goals and objectives, for the health component.
- Discuss the health status of children with their parents and provides support in accessing referrals.
- Provide health follow-up services in the home for pregnant women and infants.
- Accompany EHS Home Visitors on home visits quarterly and if needed.
- Meet with families to review medication to be administered to children at the site level and complete action plans for children with medical concerns.
- Track medication expiration and follow up with families to get updated medications.
- Serve on the Health Services Advisory Committee.
16.Adhere to Alliance for Community Empowerment Inc. policies and procedures related to prevention and response to COVID-19, including participating in training, use of PPE, implementation of universal precautions, social distancing, and keeping the workspace clean.
17.Assist with daily health screening and monitoring as related to COVID-19.
