Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst (Depending on experience)

General Summary:
This position is responsible for creating and distributing credit reports to the traders and posting them to the web sites of our clients on a daily basis. This position also measures and monitors the exposure of ACES’ clients to counterparty credit risk. To a lesser extent this position analyzes and evaluates counterparty creditworthiness.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit exposure of ACES’ clients
- Maintain data in risk system
- Handle daily margin calls and monitor collateral issued / received
- Review and provide daily system reports for credit measuring and monitoring
- Complete counterparty creditworthiness assessments
- Act as liaison between Credit and Contracts departments
- Maintain strong working relationship with ACES clients while providing excellent customer service
- Coordinate and monitor the issuance and receipt of all guarantees and collateral
- Participate and document credit working group happenings of the various ISO/RTOs utilized by ACES clients
- Interface with Credit Manager and Director of Credit regarding credit risk
- Develop solutions to improve upon existing process and procedures
- Ability to travel
- Adheres to and is supportive of all ACES corporate policies and complies with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of work experience in credit, finance, accounting, or energy markets is preferred
- Basic understanding of financial statements
- Basic understanding of ISO/RTO markets
- Basic understanding of master agreements including collateral addendums
- Analytical skills including report writing is a plus
- Leadership qualities is a plus
- Must be organized and dependable
- Must have strong verbal / communication skills
- Must think / work independently
- Must have an aptitude for math
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be Microsoft Excel proficient
