Alliance Global Solutions is seeking a Drop Bury Technician in Solana Beach, CA to join our team.
A Drop Bury Technician is self-motivated and carries high standards for quality of work. This technician will support our customers to bury and/or bore underground fiber drop cables to single-family, multi-family, and or commercial customers.
Alliance Global Solutions provides a company vehicle, gas card, tools, and uniforms!
Primary Position Duties:
- Bury drop to meet market specifications.
- Utilize locations to allow for safe excavation to prevent damage to underground utilities.
- Able to restore the jobsite to its original condition.
- Work to complete necessary tasks as assigned.
- All candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Position Requirements: While performing duties, the employee will work primarily in the field.
- Required to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to dust, fluctuating temperatures, and periodic high noise levels.
- Required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work assigned schedule, including overtime, as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication ability.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (Required)
- Ability to locate unmarked utilities and customers' equipment such as dog fences, irrigation systems, etc. is a plus WILL TRAIN!
Must live within 40 miles of the Solana Beach, CA area
