Alliance Global Solutions is seeking Travel Fiber Drop technicians traveling around the Dallas, TX (Fort Worth) and Austin, TX (Georgetown /Killeen) areas to join our team.
A Tavel Fiber Drop technician is self-motivated and carries high standards for quality of work. Fiber Drop Technician will support many areas as needed within the Dallas, TX (Fort Worth) and Austin, TX (Georgetown/ Kileen) markets to bury and/or bore underground fiber drop cables to single-family, multi-family, and commercial customers.
Primary Position Duties:
- Bury drop to meet market specifications.
- Able to identify located utilities to avoid damage.
- Able to locate unmarked utilities and customers' equipment such as dog fences, irrigation systems, etc.
- Able to restore the jobsite to original conditions.
- Work to complete necessary tasks as assigned.
- Responsible for damages.
Position Requirements: While performing duties, the employee will work primarily in the field.
- Required to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to dust, fluctuating temperatures, and periodically high noise levels.
- Required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work the schedule, including overtime, as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication ability.
- Ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, clean driving record (Required)
- All candidates must be able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift to 50 lbs. (Required)

- $22.00- $24.00/hour Based on experience
- $45/ day diem
- Room and board paid
- Rental or Company vehicle provided

- 100% Willingness to Travel (Required)
- Required Experience:
Drop Bury or related: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
Driver's License with clean driving record (Required)
