Job Description:
As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various medical conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as necessary. You will also maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Prescribe medications safely and effectively, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the EPIC charting system.
Requirements:
* Current licensure in Vermont (or ability to obtain)
* Clean DEA certification
* Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
* Ability to work 3 days per week, 8am-6pm
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in EPIC charting/dictation system
* Compliance with vaccine requirements
