Tableau Specialist

Alliance Health Systems is seeking a highly skilled Tableau Specialist to lead the migration of our existing

Looker Studio reports into Tableau and develop new, impactful Tableau dashboards to support our

data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Tableau and

Snowflake, with a strong ability to translate business requirements into intuitive and actionable

visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Migrate all existing Looker Studio reports into Tableau while ensuring data integrity and
  
  

consistency.

• Design and develop new Tableau dashboards and visualizations based on stakeholder
  
  

requirements.

• Optimize existing and newly created Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand data visualization needs and requirements.
• Work closely with data engineers and other team members to ensure seamless data integration
  
  

between Snowflake and Tableau.

• Provide end-user training and documentation for new Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Connect Tableau to Snowflake to create dynamic, real-time visualizations.
• Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies when accessing and sharing
  
  

data.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data discrepancies or issues in Tableau reports.
• Stay updated on Tableau best practices, features, and functionalities to recommend
  
  

improvements.

• Regularly review feedback to enhance the effectiveness of Tableau dashboards.
  
  

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including dashboard development and
  
  

performance optimization.

• 2 years of experience with Snowflake, including creating and managing queries for Tableau.
• Proven track record of migrating reports between visualization platforms (e.g., Looker Studio to
  
  

Tableau).

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, user-friendly dashboards.

• Experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare-related data.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline tools.
• Tableau Certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Data Analyst).
