Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a local manufacturer of flooring products for installation, maintenance and renovation of floors. We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator ASAP!
Shift : Mon-Fri 6am - 2 : 30pm
Pay : $18 / hr
POSITION PURPOSE :
This individual will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. This individual is responsible for operating forklifts and heavy equipment within the warehouse, storage spaces, and other facilities. This position will work closely with the Receiving, Picking, and Shipping departments to achieve division objectives while maintaining a focus on customer service and inventory accuracy. This individual contributes to a positive team atmosphere and applies safety guidelines in a fair and consistent manner.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
1 years of experience working in a similar role : Forklift Operator, Warehouse Worker, etc.
Experience warehousing finished goods and raw materials
Experience in warehouse / distribution inventory accuracy
Must have good attention to detail and time management skills
Must demonstrate a “hands-on” problem solving approach.
Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems is preferred – SAP experience is a plus
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
JOB DUTIES :
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, etc.).
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store, etc.).
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Comply with company policies and guidelines.
Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines.
