Shift : 7a-3 : 30p M-F (some OT may be required)
Pay : $28 / hr-$35 / hr BOE
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. Under the supervision of the QA Manager and President, the Quality Inspector will inspect incoming parts and supplies, perform first article and in-process inspections, conduct audits, and manage final inspections. The role also involves calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections for first articles, in-process parts, and final products using gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and optical comparators.
Generate and maintain data collection spreadsheets.
Prepare first article inspection reports (AS9102).
Reconcile final inspection documentation for outgoing shipments.
Test and inspect incoming raw materials.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and fixtures.
Accurately measure dimensions on machined parts to verify compliance with specified tolerances.
Ensure proper safety equipment usage and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Mandatory minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a quality inspector
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software. (Mandatory)
Familiarity with standard testing tools, including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, optical comparators, and CMM equipment.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices.
