About the Role:
We’re expanding our 2nd Shift team and looking for a talented CNC Machinist to join us! In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, specialty components for TSI’s advanced drilling equipment. Your expertise will play a key role in operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, troubleshooting, and supporting R&D projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineering team to improve processes, uphold safety standards, and lead within your work cell.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months of relevant machining experience preferred
- Forklift operator certification a plus
- Proficiency in CNC machine operation, setup, and G&M code editing
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (MasterCam experience preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and machine schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of metallurgy, tool selection, and machining strategies
- Experience working with castings, forgings, and bar stock
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques
