Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport heavy equipment products to customers.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to customer schedules.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safe operating conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including shipping paperwork and logs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to the transportation of heavy equipment.
- Be comfortable flying as part of job requirements, when necessary, to reach destinations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and meet all company safety standards.
- Ensure equipment is securely loaded and unloaded, handling all products with care.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
- Ability to provide required documentation to maintain CDL capability.
- A clean driving record with a history of safe driving practices.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Comfortable with occasional travel by air for job-related deliveries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
