About the Role:
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the HR team to deliver high-quality support to both employees and management. You’ll handle everything from coordinating onboarding and leave administration to maintaining employee records and facilitating training programs. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily HR inquiries and ensure compliance across all HR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to routine HR inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records related to the employment lifecycle, including onboarding and off-boarding.
- Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, STD, and Workers’ Compensation paperwork.
- Facilitate the talent acquisition process by screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with pre-employment tasks.
- Manage new hire onboarding, including orientation and paperwork.
- Support managers with HRIS navigation and training.
- Assist with payroll, time, and attendance processing.
- Conduct HR file audits for compliance purposes.
- Ensure positive employee relations through proactive communication and issue resolution.
What You Bring:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (or the ability to learn quickly).
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to adapt to evolving organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior HR or administrative experience preferred.
