About the Role…
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll perform maintenance and repair on Terra Sonic’s advanced equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and repairing systems such as blowers, water pumps, drivelines, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic components. You’ll provide on-site customer support, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; experience in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical assembly of larger equipment preferred
- CDL B with tank endorsement preferred
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding tools
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in field service and customer support
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train customers and interact professionally
- Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and utilize CRM for repair information entry
Travel Requirements:
This position requires travel to customer job sites for maintenance, repairs, and training. Must be willing to travel as needed to support field operations and customer needs.

- Frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; able to talk/hear as needed
- Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Occasionally sit, climb or balance
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration
- Frequently exposed to a loud noise level in the immediate work environment
- Typically found in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to hazardous conditions and inclement weather
