Responsibilities:
As a Welder at Hi-Vac, you’ll play a key role in assembling heavy-duty equipment, working with various components to ensure high-quality results.
- Layout & Assembly: Measure, position, and align components based on blueprints to create structural forms, such as machinery frames and pressure vessels.
- Precision Welding: Perform MIG and TIG welding to assemble parts with care and expertise, ensuring superior weld quality.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to address any issues in diagrams or production orders and clarify problems.
- Grinding & Finishing: Cut, grind, and debur parts to meet blueprint specifications, ensuring smooth finishes.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair components by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling parts to ensure optimal functionality.
- Versatility: Weld in all positions to complete a wide range of projects and maintain high standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of related welding experience or equivalent education and training.
- Skills: Blueprint reading, attention to detail, and proficiency in MIG/TIG welding techniques.
- Work Ethic: A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM
