Position: Tool Crib Attendant

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations by managing and distributing tools and equipment to our skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and supplies. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.

·         Tool Distribution: Issue tools and equipment to production staff as needed. Ensure that all issued items are returned when finished and in proper working condition.

·         Maintenance and Repairs: Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear. Coordinate repairs and maintenance as necessary to keep all items in optimal working condition.

·         Ordering Supplies: Monitor inventory levels and order new tools, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.

·         Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of tool usage, repairs, and inventory levels.

·         Safety Compliance: Ensure all tools and equipment meet safety standards. Implement and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

·         Provide excellent service to production staff by promptly addressing their tool and equipment needs. Resolve any issues or discrepancies efficiently.

Qualifications:

·         Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, tool crib operations, or a related field is preferred.

·         Knowledge: Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and CNC tooling. Understanding of safety standards and maintenance procedures.

·         Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications are a plus.

·         Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Standing and walking for extended periods.
