This position involves assessing the condition of vehicles for various clients, including dealerships, OEMs, finance companies, banks, fleet operators, auction houses, and consumers buying or selling cars. The Auto Damage Field Inspector will evaluate the vehicle's condition, identify any damage or repair required, and record the findings.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of consistent, full-time work experience, with experience working independently or with limited supervision. A valid state-issued driver's license and a safe driving record are also required. Additionally, the ability to work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 20 pounds without difficulty is necessary.
Some college education or equivalent experience is preferred, as well as knowledge of automotive components. Previous experience in automotive estimating or repair is also beneficial. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
