Carpenter

Alliance Labor Group is assisting an Architectural Millwork firm in hiring a skilled Carpenter. The Carpenter will complete finishing touches on trim and cabinetry work for different construction and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate needs an aptitude for precision and can accommodate unique build requirements from clients, trim carpentry or finish carpentry a plus.

Responsibilities for the Carpenter include but are not limited to:

· Perform finish carpentry work according to plans and specifications

· Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking furniture etc.

· Collaborate with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects

· Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment

· Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on the worksite

· Other duties will be assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

· Blueprint reading Skills

· Experience using power and hand tools and or carpentry trade tools

· Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

· Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers
