Overview
Reporting to the Director - Cybersecurity, the Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). This role will also involve performing key Security Operations duties, including system and application audits and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support all internal and external systems infrastructure (Incident & Problem Management), collaborating with colleagues across all Alliance Laundry Systems locations as needed.
- Compile comprehensive audit reports that identify potential risks and threats.
- Report on KPIs related to compliance and the effectiveness of information security controls.
- Support the Director of Cybersecurity in defining and testing specific information security controls and policies.
- Contribute to the global information security awareness program and ensure company-wide compliance.
- Conduct security assessments for projects and change management initiatives.
- Maintain the threat and information risk register and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
- Develop comprehensive documentation detailing system specifications and operating instructions.
- Ensure infrastructure, applications, and data security/privacy controls comply with corporate and regulatory policies.
- Work as part of the Service Desk support team, assisting with client-side issues.
- Prepare project-related documentation and business cases to implement projects per company policies, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Audit company resources to ensure compliance with policies and maintain an accurate asset record.
- Support business continuity processes, documenting and testing the infrastructure environment.
- Engage and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure effective partnerships.
- Provide system training to employees, enhancing overall system usage competence.
- Participate in out-of-hours support coverage on a rotational basis (one week per month).
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in security operations in the capacity of incident response and vulnerability management; implementing and managing core Microsoft stack (MCSE equivalent certification); administering and support virtualization platforms (VMWare); implementing and managing with Linx operating systems.
- Experience in scripting technologies such as Powershell, managing cloud solutions (laaS, Azure, AWS, O365), and managing data center technologies (SAN’s Switches, VLANs, Routers, Servers, and Firewalls)
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of ISO27001:2013 and information security best practices (identity management, intrusion detection/prevention) and a solid understanding of ITIL principles
- Experience preparing project documentation and managing projects through to completion
- Desirable experience: CompTIA security, Certified networking credential, Endpoint management solutions, Virus protection, and mobile device management.
