Mechanic 1 - Weekend Nights

Standard Work Hours:

Weekend Nights F-Su 4pm – 4am

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting on equipment such as mechanical presses, lathes, shears, welders, etc.
• Troubleshoots hydraulic/pneumatic equipment and components using schematics and/or drawings.
• Maintains machines, fixtures, jigs, etc., in proper operating condition.
• Dismantles machines or equipment and removes and replaces defective parts.
• Repairs or installs new parts and reassembles machines or equipment and adjusts to required operating performance.
• Create and attach special fixtures, guards, or other safety devices.
• Move and install equipment..
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed:

• Two year Associate degree preferred and 0-2 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS

• Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
