Responsibilities
Key Projects and Responsibilities:
As a Project Management Intern, you will lead three major initiatives:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive database of all material containers
- Conduct physical inventory counts and implement labeling systems
- Develop digital tracking methods
- Analyze data to drive packaging decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Lead end-to-end packaging optimization project
- Create and execute project plans
- Engage stakeholders and secure buy-in
- Design and coordinate prototype development
- Implement new packaging solutions in production
- Develop and organize standard work documentation
- Create clear work instructions
- Update and maintain department procedures
- Ensure alignment with quality standards
Daily Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Track project metrics and milestones
- Maintain project documentation
- Participate in team meetings
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following:
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Management
- Process Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Project Management
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in teams
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk production floor regularly
- Capable of lifting and handling materials as needed
- Extended periods of computer work
- Standing, bending, and moving throughout the facility
