Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with a proven track record in negotiating contracts for software, hardware, and telecommunications products.
- Strong understanding of SLAs, pricing models, and contract structures within the IT industry.
- Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and/or divestitures; familiarity with IT-related integration, vendor rationalization, and portfolio optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and performance metrics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess vendor performance, manage risks, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in using procurement software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s or relevant certification is a plus).

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Sourcing Specialist with at least 8 years of experience in the technology procurement field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts for software, hardware, and telecommunication products, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing vendor performance to ensure the delivery of optimal services and products at competitive prices.
This role requires extensive expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and pricing structures, as well as a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or divestitures. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Contract Negotiation: Lead and negotiate contracts for software, hardware, and telecommunication products, ensuring alignment with company needs, budgets, and compliance requirements.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendors to ensure strong partnerships. Oversee vendor performance and ensure all contractual obligations, including SLAs, are met consistently.
- SLA & Pricing Management: Manage and review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and pricing structures for IT products and services. Ensure competitive and favorable terms for the organization while maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Sourcing Strategy: Create and execute effective sourcing strategies for IT products and services that align with business goals and objectives. Ensure cost efficiency and operational excellence.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Provide expertise in managing IT-related sourcing and vendor integration during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures. Collaborate with legal, finance, and IT teams to assess vendor portfolios, optimize agreements, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Continuously monitor and report on vendor performance, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and identifying opportunities for improvements in cost, quality, and service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as IT, legal, finance, and operations to align sourcing decisions with company-wide strategies and objectives.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay current with market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier innovations to ensure the company is leveraging the best products and services at the most competitive prices.
