Job Overview :
This position is responsible for the scheduling of engineering design activities, deliverables, and resources to maintain the engineering work management program.
This position works closely with engineering superintendents and supervisors to ensure dependencies are identified and requirements are known in order to start and complete projects and activities on schedule.
Coordination of activities between plant groups is also required.
This position monitors engineering projects and activities to ensure milestone and delivery commitments are met, and provides engineering management with reports on resource allocations.
This requires knowledge and use of several work management databases to complete the function. An understanding of the Engineering Change workflow processes is also needed to anticipate and prevent missed milestones. 5-10 years' experience
Essential Job Responsibilities :
Team Member Updates (P6) : - Responsible for all of DEP (Shared Metric)
Team Member Coordinator
Schedulers will be the assigned resource of the Construction Start Milestone.
Schedulers need to get into Team Member and manage the construction start dates. Change the date if it is further out and “actualize” the date if it has already happened.
If the construction start date is past the baseline date, add the start date in the expected start date with the reason code, and do not checkmark the task as complete.
Reach out to PM and PCS to confirm if there is a baseline change request (BCR)
Monthly meetings with the senior PCS to check the task list to avoid KPI misses.
First step is set up a meeting with PCS and Tavitas.
Before advancing through Build gate a meeting held with schedulers to gain agreement that dates are good. Crew Count Reporting : (Working with Area Schedulers)
Know the contractors or regional crew working on each project.
Know which crew foreman is working on each job and how many crew members are working on that specific job.
The reported data will be helpful to forecast the $$ that will be spent on labor each month. Project Portal : (Working with Area Schedulers)
SME) All projects that go through the Proposal Portal to be submitted and facilitated the same for all areas.
Wood McKenze for the entire team.
Runs a report for Leader that shows all projects in the portal. Work Management SharePoint site :
SME) Review and keep content current / up to date. Site administrator. O&M Shared Metrics : (SME on all things PBI)
Responsible for pulling O&M shared metrics for DEP and reporting out to Director and Supervisor. Would point out any deficiencies early on. DEP Standard Schedule :
A vision for 2025 is to have a schedule lay out that would reflect projects and sequencing for an area that is quickly available and paints the picture of the overall work in an area.
Part 2 would have an overall schedule for DEP that would reflect projects and sequencing for the year. Proficient in Area Schedules and work plans :
This individual would be capable of filling in for an area scheduler during an absence. Meeting Attendance :
Weekly Planning Meetings (if applicable) – lead & present, take notes for projects.
Bi-weekly PM Meetings – Lead & Present, take notes for projects to add to the spreadsheet.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $43.06 - $48.06 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
