Chiropractic Physician
Alliance Orthopedics, the region's most dynamic multidisciplinary practice, is seeking an energetic, motivated, and articulate addition to our team! Our Chiropractic Physicians work side-by-side with our medical and conservative care teams. Chiropractors are an integral part of our team of medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, functional medicine practitioners, and pain management physicians. Additionally, our Chiropractic Physicians function as medical liaisons within our conservative care team of physical therapists, clinical athletic trainers, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and more! A licensed Chiropractor brings a unique role and perspective to the conservative care arm of our practice.
ON THE JOB TRAINING PROVIDED!!! (Must possess a valid Chiropractic License in the state of New Jersey to be considered for the role)
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with our patients! Understand THEIR GOALS!
- Clinical experience in full spine diversified technique with a competence in extremity management. Proficiency in the technical interpretation of radiographic studies is required.
- Performs physical assessment of patients to identify priority care needs. Consults interdisciplinary team regarding patient assessment findings.
- Perform a series of manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations of the body, in order to correct musculoskeletal system dysfunction and/or impairment
- Evaluate the function of the neuromuscular and skeletal systems using systems of chiropractic diagnosis
- Arrange for diagnostic exams to be taken on site or referred out as needed
- Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested
- Leads a quality improvement process. Recognizes trends in patient populations and explores alternatives to care and assists in the revision of standards, guidelines, and protocols.
- Recognizes behaviors that impact the team function and implements strategies to optimize teamwork and serves as a mentor for team members.
- Reviews self development plan and professional goals and seeks new knowledge toward the progression of professional goals. Demonstrates evidence of self development by participating in educational programs. Provides educational programs to advance performance levels of staff.
- Stand out as a valuable team member, bringing energy in collaboration with all other healthcare disciplines in a team setting to help our patients get BETTER EVERYDAY!
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Chiropractic License REQUIRED
- Comprehensive knowledge of neuromuscular injuries, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and conservative/medical treatment options
- Understanding of interventions, stretches, exercises, manual therapies, and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of life
- Willingness to challenge patients, other team members, and yourself!
