Alliance Orthopedics, the region's most dynamic multidisciplinary practice, is seeking an energetic, motivated, and articulate addition to our team! Our Occupational Therapists provide direct patient care working side-by-side with our conservative care team of chiropractors, physical therapists, athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, and more! OTs are an integral part of our sports medicine team, and function additionally as liaisons to our medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, functional medicine practitioners, and pain management physicians. A licensed occupational therapist brings a unique role and perspective to the rehab floor of our practice. Not every OT is looking for a traditional position, and that's why Alliance Orthopedics provides OTs the opportunity and resources to utilize their full scope of practice within our clinic-based model!

- Evaluate patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health
- Build rapport and relationships with our patients! Understand THEIR GOALS!
- Provide engaging one-on-one care with patients, allowing them to feel heard during evaluations
- Advise on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities
- Develop physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills
- Prepare clients for return for work, school, home, etc.
- Fabricate custom orthosis for various both post operative and conservative hand and wrist injuries
- Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to facilitate comprehensive patient care, working closely with referring physicians for injections, x-rays, MRIs and other diagnostic procedures
- Educate caregivers and/or family members of patients on patient needs
- Support marketing initiatives by attending marketing and outreach events as requested
- Flexible schedule to accommodate clinic evening hours as needed and/or required
- Act as a liaison between patients and referring physicians, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions for diagnostic tests and procedures
- Stand out as a valuable team member, bringing energy in collaboration with all other healthcare disciplines in a team setting to help our patients get BETTER EVERYDAY!
- Comply with company rules, regulations, and procedures
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an education program accredited by ACOTE or AOTA
- Certified by the National Board for Certification
- Valid New Jersey License REQUIRED
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and occupational therapy programs
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of life
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
