What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at ALLIANCE PAIN CENTER?
We are searching for Advanced Practice Providers (APP) including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to help collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care for acute/chronic pain conditions, workers compensation injuries, CDL examiner and male testosterone management. We are willing to train the right candidate. As an APP at Alliance Pain Center your objective will be to provide high quality patient care, collaborate with other healthcare members and to contribute to our mission to help patients through their pain/illness journey. You must be caring and compassionate, listen to patients needs and a team player. Here at Alliance Pain Center we strive to provide the best work life balance in ways other companies have difficulty matching such as a scribe for each provider and no on-call nights/weekends.
Skills
·· Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries and conditions within the scope of your practice.
· Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including ordering diagnostic tests (labs/Imaging/etc.), noninvasive/invasive treatment modalities, lifestyle modifications and prescribing medications.
· Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
· Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
· Perform procedures such as wound suturing, trigger injections, joint injections and intrathecal pump refills within the scope of your practice (training provided).
· Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with clinical/regulatory policies.
· Stay current with medical advancements, evidence-based practices and professional developments.
· Be a leader, have excellent communication skills, strong ethics and take initiative to better the work flow and environment.
Requirements/Experience
· Completion of an accredited PA program with certification or masters/doctoral degree in nursing with completion of NP program with national certification.
· Current unencumbered license to practice within Washington State.
· Current unencumbered DEA license.
· Understanding of pain management protocols/guidelines/rules through CDC, state boards and AMDG Washington.
· Experience in workers compensation claims management, CDL examiner, male testosterone management and pain management are desired, we are willing to assist in training.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
