Requirements: Must hold a Kentucky Surface Miner Certification. Preferred experience in plant maintenance, and surface foreman papers are a plus.

The essential functions of this position are determined to be but not limited to
Position Summary: Employee must have general knowledge of prep plant equipment. Must be able to life more than 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have the ability to climb and work off ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts. Ability to work in confined spaces and climb stairways.

The essential functions of this position are determined to be but not limited to
- Perform maintenance work on a variety of plant equipment (Pumps, Dryers, Screens, Cyclones, Piping).
- Perform maintenance work on conveyors and material handling chutes.
- Welding and use of acetylene/oxygen torches
- Heavy equipment operation (assists in maintenance work) on cranes, telehandler, forklift, boom truck.
- Stage parts and prep tools needed for upcoming maintenance work.
- Fabrication work
- Assist in production roles as needed.
- Computer skills for operating plant and train load out.
- Electrical card (optional)
