Field Investigator II:
Seeking seasoned Surveillance/SIU Investigators proficient in detailed writing, stationary and mobile surveillance, adept at in-person interviews, skilled in scene investigations, and capable of performing Alive and Well Checks on-site. As a Senior Surveillance Investigator, you will be responsible for managing diverse insurance-related casework, including document retrieval, neighborhood canvassing, securing signed statements, conducting asset searches, activity verifications, stationary and covert surveillance. A minimum of 5 years of experience in handling workers' compensation, liability, and insurance fraud cases is a prerequisite for this role.
What a day in the life of an investigator looks like
- Monitoring, following, and videotaping subjects as they conduct their day-to-day activities
- Activity varies from filming someone at their residence, a grocery store, or at a gym for example.
- Vehicle and foot pursuit of subjects while maintaining cover
- Detailed report writing on the activities observed/captured and submission of video evidence
- Interviewing witnesses and writing statements, building timelines, tracking physical locations and events
- Inspecting, photographing, measuring, and describing a scene site
- Obtaining police reports, video footage and all documents related to a case.
- In-person Alive & Well checks confirming work status, power of attorney and confirmation of on time payments
What you’ll need to apply:Minimum five (5) years of prior experience conducting investigations
- Willingness to travel to Philadelphia, and surrounding areas.
- Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to conduct covert field surveillance assignments
- Proficiency in MS Office products and Investigative Case Management systems
- A strong understanding of the industry, as well as experience conducting investigations, including surveillance, obtaining statements, and eliciting actionable intelligence from interviewees, as well as good interpersonal skills are mandatory.
- A reliable computer, able to print, scan and copy, internet access with the ability to upload large files, a vehicle and be willing to travel up to a 100-mile radius and appropriate equipment for video footage and photos.
- Invest in your own equipment for a digital camera for video footage and photos.
