PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for all aspects of billing, including but not limited to preparing and updating invoices; determining which invoices should be e-mailed, mailed or sent EDI; preparing BOLs to be scanned by A/R; inputting data into excel worksheets (Daily Sales Report, Plant Report, AR Roll forward); matching BOLs to POs for storage; updating credit card log with credit card invoices; posting credit card invoices in Southware; checking UPS & Fedex Manifest for PP&A.
Assist Cost Accountant with studying and collecting data to determine costs of manufacturing; calculating product costs based on changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, to determine effects of cost; making estimates of new and proposed product costs; maintaining cost accounting system; closing Month end; creating and maintaining product codes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions. Requires ability to communicate well in difficult situations. Occasional need to drive a vehicle to other work or meeting locations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Check all orders in system for any changes
2. Enter picking stage for each order
3. Perform the end of the day process and reports
4. Generate and distribute invoices
5. Create monthly import report
6. Perform time studies
7. Calculate manufacturing costs
8. Create and maintain product codes
9. Maintain costs in ERP
10. Cross-train in other accounting functions
11. Special projects as assigned by Controller

1. Equivalent experience to a degree three (3) years
2. Any similar combination of education and experience in related field
3. Provides functional guidance for all administrative needs
4. Administration, Accounting knowledge
5. Time management, motivational and organizational skills
6. Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and to handle calmly and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
