Position Overview:
The Analyst position supports the Alliance distributor and Natural portions of the organization. This role will play a key part in the development of distributor and syndicated data. The position will assist the team in formulating reports to help with greater insights into clients’ business. This position interfaces with customers, various members of the category management and customer development teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create reports and analyze data from distributor portals, mainly UNFI Insights and KeHE Connect.
- Create reports and analyze data from syndicated data, mainly SPINS.
- As directed, create business reviews and presentations dealing with specific needs as they pertain to clients or Alliance team members needs.
- Responsible for the use and understanding of SPINS, UNFI Insights and KeHE Connect.
- Analyze and create base marketing presentations for assigned clients and/or the customer team.
- Coordinate efforts and communications with the SVP and Directors.
- Ensure all information and analytical requirements for the company are being met.
- Visiting customers in the market with business managers may be required.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in analysis with specific knowledge of SPINS, UNFI and/or KeHE data and their uses in building and analyzing reports.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Sales, Category Analyst, Analytics, or Consumer and Shopper Insights.
- Analytical with the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Proven track-record in sales, presentations, development, and closing skills
- Must possess a valid driver license and reliable transportation as position will require travel to multiple sites
- Must be computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database management, client/customer portals, etc.
- Must possess excellent organization skills and have a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone and copy machine.
- Ability to make presentations coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be attentive to detail and accurate.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with peers and management teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
